Olympiacos started their preparations for the upcoming season strong as they routed PAOK in a friendly game.

Olympiacos Piraeus faced PAOK as a part of the preparations for the upcoming season and were very convincing with a 102-76 win.

The ‘Reds’ started with Vassilis Spanoulis, Kostas Papanikolaou, Sasha Vezenkov, Nikola Milutinov and Nigel Williams-Goss who was also the first to score in the game. Among the absent was Janis Timma who sat out as a precaution after feeling some tightness in the abductor muscle.

Olympiacos was in control from start to finish being ahead 57-36 at halftime while the biggest lead was as much as 29 points (99-70).

Seven players were double-digit for the victors as Spanoulis and Georgios Printezis led the charge with 15 points each while Axel Toupane was right behind with 14.

On the other side, Will Hatcher scored 15 in addition to Yanick Moreira’s 13 points.
