In his first interview for FC Barcelona Lassa, Kevin Pangos talked about his decision to join the Spanish team, his competitiveness, and his upcoming goals.
Pangos revealed that Barca had contacted him during last season, but the decision was made in the summer: “They contacted me at a point last season, mostly through my agent, but during the season I only want to focus on basketball. My agent took care of most of the staff, he just asked me if I wanted to play there eventually and I said of course. It’s at a great stage, great level in a great organization. It seemed the right decision, to eventually commit and sign here.”
Besides, he also talked about the team’s goals: “I believe will we have a great season. We have great talent, a good coach and we all have to come together and play as a team. We have time to get the chemistry going, and our goal is to win every game we can.”
Canadian countryman, Steve Nash is an athlete he [Pangos] looks up to and tries to take things from his game: “Steve Nash was an unbelievable player. I watched him a lot growing up. He was so talented. I try to learn as much as I can watching his game and try to pick everything that will benefit me.”
Finally, he talked about him as a player: “I’m super competitive. I want to win every game, and that’s all I try to do. If the team needs me to pass, I pass. If the team needs me to shoot, I try to shoot.”
