Saturday night proved to be quite good for two Turkish EuroLeague contenders. Anadolu Efes defeated Fiat Turin 79-71 in Bormio, Italy.
Rodrigue Beaubois bagged 21 points on 4-for-8 three-point shooting. Adrien Moerman collected 13 points and 7 rebounds, while Vasilije Micic dished 16 assists.
Meanwhile, Darussafaka Istanbul beat Buyukcekmece (97-79). Micheal Eric scored 14 points and got 8 rebounds, Jon Diebler added 13 points, while Latvian Zanis Peiners finished the game with 17 points.
In Spain, Herbalife Gran Canaria was defeated 79-54 by Iberostar Tenerife in what was the first test for both teams. Coach Salva Maldonado could not count on Ondrej Balvin, Marcus Eriksson and Kim Tillie for this game.
