In a recent interview he had for Olimpia Milan’s official website, Mindaugas Kuzminskas talked about his summer, the team, Lithuania’s national team and his new teammates.

The Lithuanian forward talked about his busy summer, and as he says even in his days off, he was working out: “When I’m not doing anything I feel guilty. Starting from the first day, I was doing yoga, going swimming and then step by step I started to involve weight lifts and basketball practices. I had a conditional physical coach and my brother who is an individual coach that would help me.”

The 28-year old also compared this season to last year: “When I came back, I felt comfortable. I know what the coaches want from me. The connection is way better than last year because we know each other pretty well. Last year at the start of the season, we did not play good, but at the end of the season we played better, and that’s why we won the Italian championship. I hope that we will be better than last year, especially in the EuroLeague and the Italian cup”.

Besides, he also talked about his former teammate in Malaga, Nemanja Nedovic, who signed a deal with Milan: “I was really happy when Milan signed him. It’s really important to know each other better and better. We played in Malaga and on the court he knows what I can do, and I know what he can do.”
