Alec Peters scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 24 minutes as CSKA Moscow beat AS Monaco 69 – 58 for the Gloria Cup Basketball tournament held in Antalya, Turkey.
Cory Higgins added 16 points and five assists while Othello Hunter finished with 14 points for CSKA that played minus guards Nando De Colo and Sergio Rodriguez who have joined the French national team and Spanish national team respectively.
Only Ian Hummer scored in double figures for Monaco, finishing with 15 points. Monaco lacked guard Paul Lacombe, who is away with the French national team.
