Real Madrid got the 80-69 win in the biggest game of “Costa Del Sol” tournament. Both teams were missing important members due to the FIBA World Cup qualifiers.

However, Real Madrid had Sergio Llull, Rudy Fernandez, Trey Thompkins, Felipe Reyes and Walter Tavares plus Ognen Kuzmic available for this game. The Serb big man returned to action after being injured for most of last season.

From the losing side, Vassilis Spanoulis was used only in the first half of the game, because coach David Blatt wanted to rest him.

Olympiacos got a 64-62 lead in 34′, but Real Madrid’s answer was a 16-0 run that gave to the “Whites” an 80-66 lead and decided the game. Trey Thompkins with 17 points for Real Madrid and Axel Toupane with 17 for Olympiacos were the top scorers of the game.
