After nine years, CSKA Moscow changed the team captain and the honor belonged to Kyle Hines .

Prior reports have been confirmed as Kyle Hines was officially named CSKA Moscow captain for the upcoming season, the club announced.

The 30-year-old American will replace Victor Khryapa who held the honorary position for past nine years and it will be the second time a foreign player became CSKA‘s captain (Matjaz Smodis 2008-09). Andrey Vorontsevich was named the co-captain.

The three-time EuroLeague champion has been playing in Europe since 2008 while he joined the ‘Army men’ in 2013.
