Zalgiris Kaunas sent young forward Matas Jogela on a loan to Dzukija Alytus for the upcoming season, the club announced.
Although it was expected for Jogela to join Zalgiris‘ main team this year, the club decided it’s best for the young forward to get more playing time in another Lithuanian League team.
The 20-year-old played for Zalgiris’ second team last season averaging 11.5 points and 5.2 rebounds in 20 minutes of play on average.
