Now that the Belgrade Final Four belongs to the past, Kyle Hines’ reflection on it gains a whole new meaning.
After missing the playoffs, Nando De Colo and Kyle Hines recovered just in time for the game against Real Madrid, but they were not able to stop the team that, in the end, would become the 2018 EuroLeague champion:
“We found ourselves with a team that was playing well at the right time,” confessed Hines. “Real Madrid came after a very tough series of playoffs, but everything happened at the right time for them. They had a great rhythm, Sergio Llull came back after his injury and brought a lot of energy, other players recovered from their injuries. They reached their peak potential. “
