CSKA Moscow prevailed over Darussafaka with a 79-75 victory at home in Round 3 of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and still remains undefeated, while the Turkish side suffered its second defeat.

Nikita Kurbanov was the leading scorer of the winners and finished the game with 13 points and eight boards, followed by Cory Higgins who posted a 14-point performance. Sergio Rodriguez and Nando De Colo also finished in double-digits with 11 and 10 points each.

On the other side of the court, Stanton Kidd and Michael Eric added a game-high of 15 points each for Darussafaka.

The hosts used a 26-10 comeback in the third period and managed to get in charge of the game, paced by Higgins, while Kyle Hines pushed the lead to 12 points at 32′ (60-48).

The margin remained close until the very last minutes of the game, though a clutch shot made by Rodriguez with just a minute left, gave CSKA a safety net and eventually the Russian team sealed the victory.
