Real Madrid guard Fabien Causeur was voted as the “French Player of the Year” for 2018.

Causeur received 102 points in a voting procedure that took place among French media members and executives, including national team manager Patrick Beesley and Federation president Jean Pierre Siutat. The Real Madrid player won the EuroLeague title with Real Madrid being the team’s MVP in the Final with 17 points, two assists and two rebounds in 24 minutes. He also won the Spanish ACB League and Supercup titles.

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert won second place with 80 points while AS Monaco wing Paul Lacombe was voted third with 20 points.
