Moshe Barda had the chance to talk with Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv big man, Tarik Black and asked him about what will happen with he will meet the other EuroLeague star, Jaycee Carroll, who is also nicknamed “Boom Boom”.
Black is more than ready about the meeting and also talked about his relationship with Joel Embiid, their talks during their college years and the now infamous dunk of Black who according to Embiid, almost made the Sixers star quit.
As he said: “Jojo is like my little brother, you know me and him would go to the gym every day during the summers when I first got on campus we would go to the gym and we would work out together because I saw that he was special early”.
As for what happened after the dunk, Black added: “I said to him ‘Jojo you’re extremely talented and I say you’re probably gonna be a one and done guy and I say you need to prepare your mind for that time when it comes and prepare yourself cause there’s gonna be a lot of notoriety coming your way'”.
