One more week of action, one more quarter of betting tips from Eurohoops. Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv and Baskonia get our vote, plus there’s a couple of interesting specialized bets.
Barcelona – Maccabi 2 (+5.5) / 1.90 @Stoiximan
This season Maccabi have the quality to hold their own as guests and especially against Barcelona, who are still trying to find rhythm and chemistry, they can force the game to be decided in the details and try to steal the win at the end. It’s hard to predict the winner in this specific encounter but the pretty big handicap on the away win (+5.5) might be enough to get us paid.
Baskonia – Darussafaka 1 (-8.5) / 1.70 @Stoiximan
Baskonia have the opportunity to return to positive results after 3 consecutive defeats since they’re playing at home against a team that is lacking in quality compared to them. Pedro Martinez’s squad, in fact, may even have a breakout and get an easy win. The handicap is not very big and the home win is worth the risk as we’re expecting a reaction from the Basques.
Vezenkov U 7.5 / 1.88 @OPAP
Vezenkov is not a player Olympiacos expects to come forward in terms of scoring. He’ll have nights when he won’t be scoring a lot. He can find some open shots in the game either from the weak side or in surprise attacks or even from offensive rebounds. Despite that, the 7.5 on Moscow seems high and the under is worth the risk on a tough home court against an excellent opponent.
Buducnost – Panathinaikos
Papapetrou U 8.5 / 1.88 @OPAP
Lojeski is back and he will probably take some time away from Papapetrou in the “3” position. The 8.5 might be high for the Greek forward and whether he comes out over or under largely depends on his shooting percentages. There is also Thomas among the forwards and he will also get some playing time. The under is worth the risk for a player who hasn’t been scoring a lot at the start of the season and whose role mainly concerns the defensive department of Pascual’s team.
