Olympiacos wants EuroLeague to restore the penalties against Dimitris Giannakopoulos and start a new disciplinary procedure on Giannakopoulos’ recent actions. The reds noted:

“On Sunday (11/11), Olympiacos Piraeus filled an official complaint to EuroLeague’s President and CEO, Jordi Bertomeu, to inform on Panathinaikos OPAP Athens and Dimitris Giannakopoulos slandering on Olympiacos for bribing referees Paternico and Zamojski in EuroLeague’s regular season Day 6 game between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos.

The letter was notified to all board members. Olympiacos invites Bertomeu to restore the penalties against Mr. Giannakopoulos according to article 8 of the Disciplinary Code and begin a new procedure on his actions according to article 42 of the same code”.
