EuroLeague spoke with Devin Booker before the 7th round of the regular season. On Friday, the Germans will face CSKA Moscow in the “Audi Dome”. A couple of days before the match, 27-year-old Booker stressed that his team’s next game is huge.
“We have to treat this game as if it’s the game of the century, ’cause it kinda is. We need this win. I think with this win we can make a statement to other teams that we’re not the underdogs here. We’re a team that comes to play every game and we’re a team to be reckoned with” he said.
He also answered a question about Bayern’s hopes for a playoffs spot: “It is a huge goal! It is one of the things on our agenda right now, beside the German title, of course. I think that once we accomplish that, we can focus on moving on to the next level. Like I said, this is the first thing on our agenda, so we have to accomplish that and then we can focus on the next step”.
