Olympiacos announced on Sunday that Axel Toupane will be on the injury list for the next ten days. The 26-year-old forward finished yesterday’s practice with a left ankle injury. Today’s MRI showed the extent of the ligament injury.
The first estimation on his recuperation time is a 10-day period. This means that Toupane won’t play in the Week 6 Basket League match with Panathinaikos OPAP today and will also miss the two following EuroLeague games. with FC Bayern Munich (20/11) in Germany and with Real Madrid (22/11) in Greece.
