Buducnost signed Montenegrin combo guard Petar Popovic to a three-year extension, the player’s agent announced.
Popovic, 22, had joined Buducnost on a three-year deal in 2016. Prior to signing with the Montenegrin club, he played in Greece with Nea Kifissia, while spending the 2015-2016 season with Serbian side Mega Leks on loan.
So far this EuroLeague season – the first for the player in the competition – Popovic averages 2.4 points and 1.6 assists over 12:23 per game in nine matches.
