According to the print edition of the Italian newspaper, the total budget rises to €25 million – €12 million of which comes from 200 sponsors, more than €3 million from ticketing, €2 million from merchandising and TV rights, while the rest (between €7 and €8 million) is the investment of team owner Giorgio Armani.

“The return of the investment is 3.5” President Livio Proli explains to La Gazzetta. “To equalize the visibility (press, TV and digital) given by the €7 million sponsorship, we should invest three times and half more” Proli mentioned.

These numbers make Milan one of the more expensive EuroLeague teams, behind the usual quarter of CSKA Moscow, Fenerbahce, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona Lassa.
