There is good news for Khimki because Anthony Gill is ready to return to action, but Alexey Shved may stay out for three more weeks.
As coach Giorgos Bartzokas said to the “RIA Novosti” news agency: “I don’t have any positive news about him. Alexey will need almost three more weeks in order to get back to practice. And he will also need some time to get his rhythm back. Anthony Gill, on the other hand, is ready to go. We have a tough schedule, we don’t have much time to prepare and without Gill and Shved we try to change our game plan, but this takes time”.
Shved may return to action in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game against Olympiacos on the 17th of January.
