Maccabi Tel Aviv guard DeAndre Kane is well aware that his team is in a difficult position regarding their EuroLeague playoff contention and he admits that there’s nothing his team can do other than keep fighting for a chance at the playoffs.

“We really don’t want to look at the standings. We just want to win each game,” Kane told Eurohoops following the loss to Real that dropped Maccabi to 5-11 and the 13th spot in the table. “We knew that coming here would be a tough game. Real Madrid is one of the top teams in Europe. It’s tough to beat them at their home when they score 90 points.”

“We are in the bottom of the standings and we have to fight for the playoffs,” Kane said.
