FC Bayern Munich could not overcome Panathinaikos OPAP’s obstacle in Athens, despite Derrick Williams’ impressive outing. Even if his team was down by double-digits throughout the game, the 27-year old star was trying to will his team back to the game, and challenge the hosts. His effort however fell short.

Despite the loss though, Williams had himself a very solid night, as he finished the contest, with a game-high 21 points, shooting efficiently from the field (5/6 2FG) (3/7 3FG) (2/3 FT). This is his sixth game with 20+ points in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, and his tenth scoring in double-digits.
