EuroLeague Regular Season Round 17 surely belonged to Kostas Papanikolaou.

The 28-year-old Greek forward forced overtime in Olympiacos‘ game with KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz with a three-pointer 3.7 seconds to go, which was one of his 6/7 of the night. His 22 points on Tuesday were his EuroLeague personal-best.

His 31 PIR was enough the MVP of the Round honors because it was the highest among all players of the teams that won Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s matches.

However, he has had one performance with a higher PIR in the past. Papanikolaou’s career-high 37 ranking highlighted the 14th Round of the 2012-13 Top 16 stage and brought him his first EuroLeague MVP of the Round Award.
