Olympiacos swingman Axel Toupane compared his former coach with Zalgiris Kaunas Sarunas Jasikevicius with David Blatt, his current coach on Olympiacos, saying that they resemble two… completely opposite elements.
“I’d say that Saras is probably fire, David Blatt is water,” Toupane said in a joint interview he gave with his father, coach Jean-Aime Toupane, for Greek channel Cosmote TV.
Toupane explained why Vincent Collet, his coach on the French national team reminds him of Blatt a bit. “Vincent (Collet) is ice. I think that Vincent and David are alike a bit. They are calm but they have strict principals,”
