Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv is on a roll. After its win over Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, the Israeli team has won four straight matchups and currently has a 9-11 record. A huge part in Maccabi‘s success against Panathinaikos was Angelo Caloiaro’s performance.
The 29-year old was one-point shy of his career-high, as he scored 20 points, on extremely impressive shooting from the field (4/5 2FG) (2/4 3FG) (6/6 FT), while he also enjoyed a career-high 11 rebounds. He also handed out two assists, and had the game’s highest PIR of 33.
