Barcelona technical advisor Manolo Flores verbally attacked CSKA Moscow head coach Dimitris Itoudis during the flash interview following the match between the two teams.
“I’m not congratulating you. You were provocative,” Flores told Itoudis just at the beginning of the interview. Itoudis then replied: “Who was provocative? I made a move to calm down”.
CSKA‘s coach later said to the reporter “Those are heavy words.”. The planned interview, a staple after all EuroLeague games, never took place.
With almost 20 seconds remaining, players from both teams were involved in a minor altercation.
