Jordi Bertomeu is visiting Athens, he attended the games between Olympiacos and Barcelona and also between Panathinaikos and Anadolu Efes, and speaking to NovaSports, the EuroLeague TV rightholder in Greece, he confirmed that the Greek capital will host the EuroLeague Final Four soon.
As he said: “We know that OAKA and Athens are a really strong candidate city for the 2020 Final Four and I hope than around the end of March, we will announced the hosts of the next Final Four. Next year, or at 2021, we will return to Athens”.
As Eurohoops had reported, only formalities are left in order for Athens to host the 2020 Final Four.
