Zalgiris Kaunas travelled to Spain on Wednesday ahead of the away game with KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz without Nate Wolters (groin) and Antanas Kavaliauksas (calf). The Lithuanian club is in a must-win situation, but after sitting out the previous EuroLeague match the two players will also miss the Regular Season Round 24 contest.

Walters is receiving treatment for his injury, but Zalgiris is still awaiting the results of the tests to determine the severity of Kavaliauskas’ injury. The Lithuanians are currently two wins behind eight-placed Baskonia, so a victory on the road can go a long way on working their way back in the playoffs race.

The Spanish team, host of the 2019 Final Four, will continue its campaign without long-term injured Tornike Shengelia (knee) and Jayson Granger (ankle). However, the rest of Velimir Perasovic’s players are expected to be available on Thursday.
