Pablo Laso and Zeljko Obradovic are among the head coaches that will be in Madrid on Wednesday to officially introduce the EuroLeague Coaches Association according to Mundo Deportivo. Also expected to be present are Xavi Pascual, Ahmet Caki and Neven Spahija who were let go by their team during the EuroLeague 2018-19 Regular Season.

The discussions on the development of the association have progressed to the point that a meeting in the Spanish capital was arranged to discuss the final details on the objectives and wrap up the project. The main intention is to defend the contractual rights of the coaches after dismissals and other similar events.

Almost half of the sixteen EuroLeague teams have decided to change their head coach during the 2018-19 campaign. Many head coaches have expressed their concern on the high number of their peers that lost their job.
