Nick Calathes had a historic night in Athens on Thursday night with an extremely rare triple-double, but James Gist was Panathinaikos‘ leading scorer in the vital win against Buducnost.
The ‘Greens’ qualified to the EuroLeague playoffs, as Gist had his best game this season. In less than 20 minutes, Gist scored a season-high 23 points (6/7 2FG) (1/1 3FG) (8/12 FT), while he also grabbed six rebounds and handed out two assists.
