With the trio of Nikola Milutinov, Nigel Williams Goss and Zach LeDay doing work, Olympiacos crushed Darussafaka Tekfen 99 – 74 to conclude the 2018-2019 EuroLeague campaign with a win in front of the few fans that were gathered to see the team in “Peace and Friendship” arena.

The Reds, that were eliminated from playoffs contention following Zalgiris Kaunas’ away win over Real Madrid Thursday (4/4), finished the regular season with a 15 – 5 record. Dacka remained at the bottom with 5 – 25.

Williams-Goss finished with 18 points plus six assists while Milutinov added 16 points and six rebounds, same as LeDay for the winning side.

From Dacka, Berk Demir scored 12 points, Jeremy Evans 11 and Stanton Kidd 10. The Turkish team was up 35 – 24 early in the second period, taking advantage of the hosts’ sloppy start. Yet the Greek team reacted to close halftime with a 45 – 44 lead.

In the second half, Olympiacos completely took over and dominated the third quarter 30 – 12. David Blatt sent in forward Dimitris Agravanis to make his season debut in EuroLeague following some injury struggles, and also put in 17-year-old Aleksej Pokusevski for the game’s final minutes.
