CSKA coach Dimitris Itoudis expects the help of Moscow’s fans, while Baskonia coach Velimir Perasovic wants “something positive” out of the trip in Russia

Perennial EuroLeague contender CSKA Moscow will face once again KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in the playoffs and coach Dimitris Itoudis hopes that not only his players, but also the fans of CSKA will be present in order to boost the team’s morale.

As CSKA coach said: “We start our playoff series and it is going to be tough at this stage of the season. We will approach it game by game, so our focus is on the first one. We recently played against Baskonia and we know how strong they are. We expect a tough game, so I hope our fans also realize it and they will fill the stands to help us.”

On the other had Velimir Perasovic doesn’t hide his team’s ambitions. As the coach of Baskonia said: “Our goal is to get something positive out of our trip to Russia, knowing that we are playing against a top team. We go to Moscow with hopes. All players want to play as good as possible because they know will be paying attention to the playoffs and this is the most beautiful thing for a player. We are playing against a team with loads of individual talent, a team that knows how to make the most of every situation and that goes to the free throw line a lot.”
