EuroLeague opened disciplinary proceeding for Rick Pitino and Keith Langford for their statements on the referees after Panathinaikos OPAP loss to Real Madrid, Jayson Granger as well for his similar comment following Game 1 of the EuroLeague playoffs series between KIROLBET Baskonia and CSKA Moscow.

The 66-year-old American head coach had mentioned about Real Madrid that “they had their hands on Keith in every pick-and-roll, but we didn’t get the calls” before adding: “That’s part of the game”.

The day after the match he pointed out that he doesn’t concern himself about the referees.

On his part, Langford, 35, said to reporters in Madrid that referees should let players decide the game the day following Game 1.

Granger, 29, took his complaints on Twitter writing: “This about fouls…”. He later deleted the tweet.
