Kirolbet Baskonia announced that Matt Janning suffered a toe injury on his right foot and will miss tonight’s (26/4) EuroLeague playoffs Game 4 against CSKA Moscow as well as Baskonia‘s next Spanish League game.

The announcement by Baskonia is as follows:

Matt Janning will not be available tonight to play the fourth game of Euroleague’s Playoff series against CSKA due to an injury to his right foot.

The player had to retire injured from the court during the third match of the series and the medical tests have determined that he suffers a partial rupture of the flexor tendon of the fifth toe of the right foot that will keep him out of at least the tonight’s match and the next Endesa League match between KIROLBET Baskonia and Montakit Fuenlabrada on Sunday at Buesa Arena.

Janning has started a conservative treatment and his daily evolution will determine his recovery period.
