Fenerbahce Beko and Melih Mahmutoglu officially signed the three-year contract extension.

Prior reports have been confirmed as Fenerbahce Beko announced that they have signed a three-year extension with Melih Mahmutoglu.

The 28-year-old has been playing with Fenerbahce since 2013 and has been the team captain since the 2015-16 season.

Per Fenerbahce:

Fenerbahce Beko Men’s Basketball Team continues to work on the staff planning for the upcoming seasons. In this context, our team extended the contract of team captain Melih Mahmutoğlu for another three years.

Melih Mahmutoğlu, who has successfully worn the Fenerbahçe uniform since the 2013-14 season and served as the team captain from the 2015-16 season, was a major contributor to the historic achievements. Melih Mahmutoğlu, who will have the fifth Final-Four experience in a row with our team and who has a significant share in the great achievements including the European championship, will continue to wear Fenerbahçe Beko uniform until the end of the 2021-2022 season.
