Ahead of the 2019 EuroLeague Final Four, Fabien Causeur wrote a blog on EuroLeague.net. The 2018 EuroLeague Champion and Real Madrid as a team are back at the final stage of Europe’s premier competition and hope to repeat last year’s success. CSKA Moscow, Fenerbahce Beko and Anadolu Efes will be at Vitoria-Gasteiz aiming for EuroLeague glory as well.

The other aspect the four clubs have in common is one French player in their squad. The 31-year-old French guard noticed and wrote: “It is nice for my country and for French basketball to have so many good players in the EuroLeague, more and more every season! A lot of talents go to the NBA, but also to the EuroLeague. It will be great for us to meet each other in Vitoria.”

On the Final Four itself, he pointed out: “I don’t think pressure is what makes a Final Four game special. The motivation is so high that sometimes you want things too much, maybe. You can feel a Final Four game is something different. It is a knock-out game with your whole EuroLeague season on the line.”
