VITORIA-GASTEIZ — Following Real Madrid‘s loss to CSKA Moscow in the second semifinal of the 2019 Final Four, Pablo Laso gave credits to his team for what they have done so far in the season and set the focus to the Spanish League playoffs.
“Congratulations to my team on a great EuroLeague season. We won the playoffs, we came to the Final Four to live or die”, commented Laso.
“We’re disappointed now, but I have nothing bad to say about my team because we fought until the end. Congratulations to the team and I’ll try to get their heads up and prepare for the final month we have in the Spanish League”.
Laso was also asked about the referees and he gave a sincere answer: “I have an obvious feeling that CSKA hit too many free throws, but I can’t say in confidently without watching the game one more time”.
