Facundo Campazzo scored 12 points and dished 15 assists on his way to a single Final Four record while Gustavo Ayon nailed 23 points without a missed shot (11-11 FG) along with 11 rebounds.
Ayon was off to a great start scoring nine points early on to push Real Madrid ahead 22-9 but Fenerbahce bounced back led by Sloukas‘ nine points including the layup to put his squad in front at halftime (40-38).
The squads came out fully focused after the break for a highly effective third quarter which belonged to the Spaniards (31-23) as they grabbed a 69-63 advantage. Campazzo and Ayon were unstoppable as the first kept dishing assists on his way to a Final Four record while the latter kept banking his shots without a miss.
Real opened the fourth quarter with a 15-0 run breaking Fenerbahce and securing the third place.
The game ended the worst possible way for the Turks, as Erick Green left the court injured on a stretcher.
