EuroLeague finalists Anadolu Efes has shown interest in FC Bayern Munich forward Derrick Williams. There have been initial talks between the two sides, but an offer hasn’t been made yet.
Williams has emerged as one of the main targets of Efes as they want him both for the “3” and the “4” position.
However, the side of the player is not eager to make any decisions and will explore all possible offers, including the potential return to the NBA.
The 28-year-old forward played 29 EuroLeague games with Bayern Munich this season and averaged 13.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 26 minutes of play. In the German League, he has posted 12 points, 3.5 rebounds and one assist per game.
His season was one of the key reasons that Bayern was a EuroLeague playoffs contender until the end of the regular season.
