Anadolu Efes made an offer to Maccabi Tel Aviv forward/center and free-agent-to-be Johnny O’ Bryant according to Roi Cohen of Israeli network Sport 5.
Efes had been looking for a frontline player to replace German center Tibor Pleiss during free agency. O’ Bryant has been targeted by the Turkish side, together with Baskonia forward/center Johannes Voigtmann.
O’Bryant will hit free agency coming off his debut season in Europe. In EuroLeague, the 26-year-old American big guy averaged 10.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23:23 minutes over 30 games. The player is currently getting ready for the Israeli Winner League Final Four that begins Monday (10/6).
