Vanja Marinkovic may end up following the trail from Partizan to Olympiacos like Nikola Milutinov and Nigel Williams-Goss before him. The young Serb guard is among the targets of the Greek club which is following him closely.
There are other EuroLeague clubs which are also monitoring the player, however, Olympiacos already made initial contact. Marinkovic has a contract for next season with Partizan, which includes a modest buyout clause in case there’s interest either from the NBA or from any European club.
One of the top European talents of his generation, Marinkovic is also auto-eligible for the upcoming NBA draft due to his age.
Marinkovic who is currently competing in the Serbian league finales averaged 12.4 ppg, 2.3 rpg, and 2.3 apg in 16 EuroCup games this season.
