Kostas Sloukas’ future remains unclear, however, Fenerbahce BEKO has more than a good chance to keep him for three more seasons

Kostas Sloukas will take his final decision about his future after the end of the BSL finals, however, the talks between his side and possible suitors are ongoing. Still, for the moment, Fenerbahce BEKO seems to have the upper hand against the other clubs.

To be exact Fenerbahce, Olympiacos and FC Barcelona Lassa had presented their offers to the player. All of them are three-year deals with an option after the second year. Barcelona has made the biggest offer with a total of 6.1 million euros, Fenerbahce follows with 5.6 million and Olympiacos is third with 5.1 million. All those numbers don’t include taxes and can be the net salary of Sloukas.

The Greek guard seems content with Fenerbahce’s offer, while Olympiacos – at least for now – can’t present a better offer. Meanwhile, Sloukas’ side is asking for specific financial guarantees about the payments from the Reds.

At this point, the only team which may enter the race to sign Sloukas but has not presented an offer yet is CSKA Moscow.  It remains to be seen how things will end up since the clock is ticking and Sloukas is expected to decide soon after the end of the season in the Turkish league.
