Tarik Black was offered a new contract by Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, but the Israeli side is also trying to keep Johnny O’Bryant. According to Sport 5, Maccabi has launched talks with the 26-year-old American big as well, recently presented him with an improved offer.

A based belief in the team from Israel is that both Americans forward/centers can show improvement following their solid EuroLeague debuts. Black, 27, averaged 11 points and 5.4 rebounds during the 2018-19 EuroLeague season, while his compatriot added 10.6 points and 5.9 rebounds for Maccabi.

However, according to Eurohoops sources, Anadolu Efes is also interested in the services of O’Bryant.

In contrast, Angelo Caloiaro and Michael Roll are not expected to maintain a spot in Ioannis Sfairopoulos’ roster.
