A few moments after Panathinaikos posted the official announcement of Marcus Denmon’s acquisition on the team’s website, the player’s agent Misko Raznatovic denied that his client has signed with the club.
In fact, Raznatovic wrote that Denmon remains a free agent.
“More than official – Marcus Denmon is free agent, and he ll decide where he ll continue his career in upcoming days! He hasnt valid contract with any of the teams, including Greek champions, BC Panathinaikos! All the information about his signing with any of the teams is false,” Raznatovic tweeted.
The announcement of Denmon’s return to Panathinaikos was posted on both the Greek and the English language on the website of the ‘Greens’. As of now, the announcement is still up on the website.
UPDATE: Denmon also tweeted that he is still a free agent.
