James Gist will not continue his career with Panathinaikos OPAP. He joined the Greens midway through the 2012-13 season and went on with six full campaigns linking himself to many great moments and becoming a fan favorite on the way. However, Dimitris Giannakopoulos confirmed his exit from the Greek club on Thursday.
The 32-year-old center averaged 7.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per match during the previous EuroLeague season. He had 7 points per game in the Greek Basket League Regular Season and 5.7 per contest in the Playoffs as well.
