Crvena Zvezda mts added a EuroLeague veteran in Derrick Brown ahead of its return to Europe’s premier competition. The Serbian team made its deal with the 31-year-old American forward official via press release on Thursday.
Brown last played during the 2017-18 season with Anadolu Efes. He averaged 7.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per EuroLeague match rising his number of appearances to 101. He also sank 8.5 points per contest in the Turkish Super Ligi.
He previously participated in the 2015-16 EuroLeague season with Efes and had one more campaign with Lokomotiv Kuban in 2013-14. His European adventure started after 171 NBA games with the Charlotte Bobcats and the New York Knicks between 2009 and 2012.
