Janis Timma signed his two-year contract with Khimki Moscow Region, the Russian club announced on Thursday. Eurohoops previously reported on the two-year deal between the two sides and Olympiacos formally let him go, before Khimki completed the transfer.

The 26-year-old Latvian forward joined the EuroLeague and VTB side midway through the 2018-19 season. He averaged 17.8 points, 4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in the VTB Regular Season and added 14.8 points, 3,1 rebounds and 2 assists per Playoffs contest.

However, Timma started the 2018-19 campaign with Olympiacos after parting ways with KIROLBET Baskonia. With the Reds he had 3.4 points per EuroLeague game and 6.1 points per Greek Basket League match.
