Mouhammad Faye will make his EuroLeague debut next season.

Mouhammad Faye signed a one-year contract extension with Crvena Zvezda, the club announced. The Senegalese forward/center will thus return to Red Star for the 2019-2020 season.

In 2018-2019, Faye, 33, averaged 6.8 points, 5.1 rebounds in 20.4 minutes over 27 ABA League games. Zvezda won the championship and thus gained a spot in the 2019-2020 EuroLeague.

Faye completed the 2018-2019 EuroCup campaign of his team with 8.2 points, 6.9 rebounds in 24.58 minutes over 13 games. It was his maiden season in the competition.

In the offseason so far, Red Star has signed captain Branko Lazic, guards Jimmy Baron and Filip Covic plus forward Borisa Simanic to contract extensions. The club has also acquired veteran EuroLeague forward Derrick Brown.
