Victor Claver is extending his contract with Barcelona until 2022, the club announced. The Blaugrana announced that an agreement has been reached with the Spanish forward who “provided his worth both on and off the court.”
Barcelona signed Calver in the 2016 offseason. Over three seasons with the club, Claver has played 204 games in all competitions. He helped Catalan side win the 2018 and 2019 Copa Del Rey titles.
Claver averaged 5.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 21:14 minutes in 35 per game in 2018-2019 with Barcelona as the team made the playoffs for the first time since 2016. In ACB, the 30-year-old forward had 6.0 rebounds, 4.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 22 minutes over 46 games.
