Fabien Causeur is signing a three-year extension with Real Madrid.

Real Madrid announced that the club and guard Fabien Causeur have reached an agreement for the extension of the player’s contract until 2022.

Causeur, 32, has been playing with Real Madrid since 2017. In his two seasons with the club, The French guard won the Spanish ACB League titles of 2018 and 2019, plus the 2018 EuroLeague.

He was the top scorer of Real in the 2018 EuroLeague championship game against Fenerbahce Beko with 17 points.

In 2018-2019, Causeur averaged 5.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 14:05 minutes over 35 games. He was a starter in 24 matches.

So far in the 2019 offseason, Real Madrid has signed center Edy Tavares to a new multiyear deal and has extended the contract of forward Jeff Taylor.
