ASVEL Villeurbanne announced the signing of Latvian guard Rihards Lomazs with a two-year deal on Thursday.
23-year-old Lomazs spent the previous season with Ventspils (his fourth overall with the club) in Basketball Champions League, posting an average of 17.1 points, 2.9 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game. He finished the season with a 50% percentage from the three-point line, making him a threat for any EuroLeague team next season.
